Sporty's Restaurant Catering

Sporty’s Restaurant & Catering has been a cherished part of the Bloomingdale community since the 1970s. Initially known as Sporty’s Red Hots, the establishment was founded by Jim and Gayle Dvorak, specializing in hot dogs and similar fare. In 1989, they shifted focus exclusively to catering, introducing the now-famous Sporty’s Chicken Tenders.

Over the years, Sporty’s has served over a million of these beloved tenders. In the spring of 2015, ownership transitioned to Laurie and Rocco Zaccardi, who have continued the tradition of offering a diverse menu for both restaurant dining and catering services. Throughout its evolution, Sporty’s has remained committed to using quality ingredients, providing personal attention to food preparation, and ensuring consistency in every order.
