Spray Free FNQ

Spray Free FNQ is a community group located in Far North Queensland Australia.

We believe that councils should stop using chemical herbicides such as

glyphosate and Roundup in public areas where people, children and pets can be

exposed to these chemicals. We have created a petition as a member group of

Friends of the Earth Far North Queensland to demand that all the councils within

this region immediately phase out the use of these harmful chemical sprays and

in the interim adopt a series of precautionary measures to ensure the safety of

the public. We also ask that the spraying of chemicals stops around

environmentally sensitive areas such as waterways and drains particularly those

that are in the Great Barrier Reef catchment.
