The Reiki lineage of the Halau at 'Aha Hui Lanakila, Inc., is partly based on the traditions of Western Reiki, as taught by Stephen Lovering by a variety of Western Masters, partly based on some of the teachings of the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai in Japan (Mikao Usui's Reiki association) which have come to us through Frank Arjava Petter and Hiroshi Doi, and partly based on information coming from a group of Usui's surviving students in Japan, through Chris Marsh. Therefore, this Halau's healing mana is far different than most of the Reiki you will find in a book or class in America, or in most parts of the world for that matter. Gassho!

The Halau's founder, Victoria Lanakila Generao, answered The Call in 1980 and ordained as a Minister in 2003. The Halau's practitioners work to achieve Unity ... Lokahi ... between individuals and communities. We have been blessed with many learning opportunities and school-of-hard-knocks experiences. We will continue serving our One 'Ohana the world over ...
