Elliott is a sophomore at UW-Madison studying journalism and mass communication. He has worked in the community relations department of Wisconsin Athletics since August 2014, writing press releases, managing social media and assisting with other affiliated duties for the publicity team.

Elliott was a prior student-athlete at UW who forsook that path to follow his dream of working in strategic communication. His goal is to use his communication experience to one day help him work in advertising and marketing. In his spare time, he is an avid reader and loves being outdoors. He is from a small farm near Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and grew up riding horses, bailing hay and wrestling cattle (not so much the last part). He also has no relation to the Sprecher root beer, and it isn't even his favorite root beer to begin with.
