Rasied in Taipei, Taiwan, new to (sort of) Sacramento, CA. Trained as a translator/interpretor (Mandarin--English) in Newcastle, England, but never really a full-time one. Currently working as freelace translator for magazines based in Taiwan and occasional graphic desginer; volunteering for Asian Community Center/Meals on Wheel based in Sacramneto. Drawing and graphic design have been my rekindled passion, but I am also having an affair with bread making which leads to an upcoming online bakery venture. Love to read but not too much as my favorite authors have been Paul Auster and my cousin who wirtes romantic/horror fictions. My guilty pleasures: BBC Sherlock, the voice of Benedict Cumberbach, Chef Jamie Oliver's salad-tossing hands, vino, scotch, and black seseme paste. I pladge allegiance to bands MUSE and Arcade Fire. Favorite sport--dog walking and cuddling. Things must do before I die--Scotch tour in Scotland, taking bakery class and wine tasting in Italy and going on the Napa train.
