Something about me

Hello! I am Shanmuga Prabhu Viswanathan. Since I have a pretty big name, my friends prefer to call me Shan. I am a Software Engineer working in the IT Capital of India (Bangalore). Went to a Business School in Lausanne (Switzerland) and then went on to complete my Software Engineering from London.

What I do

I develop Web Applications (PHP + MySQL) and Custom E-Commerce Solutions (Magento CE, Prestashop and X-Cart Gold). I have worked on .Net and Java projects and have also tried my hand at Mobile Application Development using Phonegap, J2ME and Blackberry SDK. Currently I am learning to improve my UI + UX design skills.

What I do when I am not working

I spend time with my family, travel / explore new places, go on long drives, occassionally try some adventure sports and do social service. I am not a fitness freak, but I work out regularly to keep fit. I try experimenting with photography.
