I’m an aesthetic and plastic surgeon at Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals Kolkata, India. As a clinician, I perform plastic surgeries to better my patient’s appearance and to restore body function after injuries or cancer. As a Harvard-educated scientist, I’m working to better understand how we age, how our wounds heal, and what we can do to reverse the aging process and heal wounds in a better way. My expertise includes aesthetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, regenerative treatments, tissue engineering with biomaterials, lasers, and cosmetic therapy.

I enjoy generating new ideas and devising novel, effective solutions for different health-related issues. My friends would describe me as a driven and creative individual who maintains a positive, dynamic attitude, even in the face of adversity. Currently, I am developing and promoting futuristic minimally invasive surgical techniques and technologies that will benefit my patients maximally. Specific fields of interest include aesthetic treatments, regenerative surgery, and tissue engineering.

To give back to the society that has nurtured me, I often engage in volunteering my services to the poor and the needy.

During leisure, I prefer going out on long walks amidst nature, long drives, reading, listening to music, and writing.
