Sriram Ilango

First off, I hate mentioning myself in third person so here goes - I'm a Engineering student like million others in India. I want a shift in paradigm and I hope writing will provide it to me. The below are what I consider the highlights of my short career.

• Wrote around 40 articles in Bleacher Report, a world wide platform for budding sports writers and gathered around 100,000 hits.
• Worked at AVirtualExit authoring more than 20 posts.
• Had a great time at ADS Soft Solutions ghost authoring more than 300 posts.
• My posts at Bleacher Report were re-tweeted and shared at social media networks all around the world and were republished numerous times at leading websites like Internationaled and Regator.
• My Freelance work have been published at various online media sites such as Automotto, Cellphonebeat and Designbuzz.
• Currently working at Sportskeeda , a great India- based sports website.
• Articles of mine have been liked, re-tweeted, shared and dugg, stumbled in various platforms.
• A single article of mine was featured in StumbleUpon homepage for more than a month gathering around 95k Stumble Upons. The article was read around 260,000 times and still counting.
• I'm currently the Campus Ambassador of IIT-Bombay's Talk to a Teacher initiative Spoken Tutorials in my college.
• An avid user of free and independent software programs. Also a member of the Software Freedom Group.
• Finding new contacts and friends through the internet is a great habit that I have. It is much more productive than any other classified hobby if you ask me!
