As a Peer Career Specialist at the Academic and Career Information Center at K-State, I help students match their passions and interests with majors and programs offered at K-State.

I am a junior in Secondary Education - Mathematics and hope to teach middle school math in a rural setting after I graduate in December 2016. Outside of school and work, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family, watching movies, going on Sonic runs with my friends, eating tacos, and cheering on the 'cats! I love to get to know others on a deeper level and to make connections with them!

I have always known deep down that I wanted to be a teacher but went through periods where I explored a wide variety of careers from being a dentist to a youth pastor. I ultimately decided to be a teacher after my high school counselor asked me to be a tutor. Through this experience, I learned that I have a true gift of being able to explain math! I am excited to help other students at K-State find their passion too!

At ACIC I have the privilege to work one-on-one with students as they search through their interests to find a major to match. One of my favorite quotes is "it's a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together." I am so fortunate to be working with such a dedicated and lively group of people who are committed to helping students uncover their dreams!
