Postdoctoral Research Associate in Georgia State University, US
I'm a postdoctoral research associate at Georgia State University, where I investigate Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) - Sun's most powerful eruptions. Currently my focus is to figure out why they expand in unusual ways as they travel through our solar system.
Before moving to the U.S., I completed my PhD in India at Indian Institute of Science and Indian Institute of Astrophysics, focusing on the origin of these solar eruptions. I've also had the privilege of working as a SCOSTEP Visiting Fellow at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, trying to track the magnetic structure of CMEs on their journey from the Sun to Earth.
