I am ambitious leader with a successful track record for design, implementation and management of growth oriented strategic plans and projects.

I am an energetic self-starter who thrives on bringing order to chaos. I lead dynamic teams through consensus building and collaborative planning, have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in environments of change, challenge and transition. I am results-focused, entrepreneurial, and practical, always looking to positively impact my community through a variety of different health related initiatives and causes.

I am an excellent project manager with strong communication skills. With over 10 years’ experience in financial and insurance services, and over three years in management and advisory roles I balance my time between the for profit and not-for-profit sectors.

I currently lead the operational management of one of Sun Life’s largest multi-advisor corporations. I repeatedly demonstrate my successful ability to reduce risk in the areas of multi-million dollar new business acquisitions, internal compliance and human resources. I am often selected to serve on advisory working groups to give my unique perspectives for effective change management. For the past three years I have been a voice for multi advisor corporations across the country in the design and implementation of Sun Life’s transition to Salesforce.com.

My purpose and passion as a mother, wife, and professional has led me to continuously strive for change and impact within my community in areas related to health and outreach. I currently vice-chair The Ottawa Birth and Wellness Centre’s finance and audit committee. I have worked for the University Health Network, where I led Ottawa’s edition of The Power of Movement, a nation-wide campaign for The Arthritis Foundation. I also volunteer for Unity for Autism and co organized many of the charity’s golf tournaments over the past seven years.

I strive for achieving operational excellence through refined budget planning, clear and transparent operational goals and plans, and efficiently lean systems and departments for the sustained growth and development of the organization.

Today I am searching to solve problems for the InsurTech & FinTech sectors that relate to compliance, talent management, business development, and process improvements!
