When my third-grade teacher arranged to have my essay ("What Hanukkah Means to Me") published in the local newspaper, I felt I was destined for a brilliant journalism career. Yeah, maybe not so much. But 40 years later, I am still writing (about real estate) and loving it. I live in a house that's filled to the gills, along with my artist husband, three kids, and our wandering, scrappy cat. In rare moments of solitude, I'm probably reading a book or on gawking at larger homes for sale in our neighborhood (a girl can dream, can't she?)
