Hi, I’m Stacie. While every one else spent their summers at the beach I was either 1. playing Neopets, or 2. at computer camp (I closed the circle when I went on to teach computer camp). Today I’m a software engineer with a background in Java and web services. I am experienced in working across the stack and willing to wear whatever hat is necessary to get the job done. I get particularly excited when this means learning new technologies.

I'm familiar with the full SDLC. I value careful planning and design and understand the importance of building systems that are extensible and easy to maintain.

I am passionate about clean code, scalable solutions, thorough testing, and quality documentation.

When I'm not behind a screen you can find my spoiling my dog Ernest, digging for treasures at the thrift store, or trying out weird, but delicious plant based recipes (aquafaba anyone?). Drop me a line. I'd love to hear from you!
