Stanislas Phanord

During my course of study at Northeastern University, I experienced diplomacy in action in Switzerland, learned a new language and culture in Morocco, advanced my knowledge of French language and culture in France, and advocated for the human rights of street children in Senegal. My name is Stanislas Phanord and I am a Haitian-American who made it from Geneva Avenue, one of the most dangerous areas in Boston, Massachusetts, to Geneva, Switzerland, the humanitarian capital of the world.

I have been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in Paris, France and a Rangel Fellowship to serve as a U.S. diplomat once I obtain my Master's degree.
