"Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself". These are the words that speak life into Terrell’s journey through North Carolina Central University, and does his dear mother often say a quote. Growing up on the roughs sides of Greensboro, NC Terrell was stressed the importance of a college education if he ever wanted to live in better environment and have the means to make a change in his community.
In 2014 Terrell entered in as a freshmen student who was undecided in a major, trying to find his calling as well adjusting to the new norms of this four year experience. However with the help of great professors and outstanding career driven seminars Terrell was greatly persuaded to take up a major in business management.
Coming up on his sophomore year Terrell is an active member in the Centennial Scholars Program. This program made him engage with the university and allied him with men who he calls his brothers, who support one another and share common goals as it relates to being a respectable man who values their opportunity at a higher education. Terrell believes that surrounding himself with like-minded people gives him a better chance at success because at ever turn there he is ,it helps as a consistent reminder of what his purpose is and gives motivation to achieve this goal.
