star-crossed fool's mirror

in this blog, i write lines. sometimes i use prompts from NaPoWriMo. but normally, i make myself come up with at least 2,000 words to fill a monthly column at a popular, local, filipino-owned newspaper. en route to appointments and routines, i bring yarn and crochet cold weather accessory combatants. i am having a blast so far.

i'm based in the windy city with my 5-year-old daughter, our pet lhasa apso, and a dedicated, adventurous lola who'll drive us anywhere - so long as it's not too far out of the city. she makes great food too. yum.
