I was born in Illinois but moved south to Louisiana when I was 6. I have spent the rest of my life in the South. For a brief time, I lived in Kentucky, but then transplanted further south to Texas later on.

My love of cooking really started in my early twenties. I love trying new recipes, creating my own, and learning about regional and cultural foods.
