Nicholas Cooke Steadman

Brooklyn, New York.

Steadman has been a technology entrepreneur since 2011, when he invented (i.e. patent pending) a way for computers to read human attitude by analyzing the person's posture using the Kinect sensor.

In 2012 Steadman founded PsychographX, and developed a working prototype of his invention, the "Body Language Reader." In a test of the technology, participants with the highest measure of "Dominance" in their postural attitude were found to like a BMW commercial ("Landspeed") TWICE as much as participants with the most "Submissive" attitude measure.

In 2013 Steadman founded GRÜV-IN, a company that optimizes restaurant patronage by enticing patrons to visit their favorite restaurants on off-nights (Sunday through Wednesday) when those restaurants want to boost their patronage, by getting the restaurants to offer their customers free drinks and/or appetizers.

As of December 2013, GRÜV-IN is in beta and getting a strong positive response from the market...

Steadman is also planning a Kickstarter pitch, for Winter 2013/14, for another patent pending invention of his—the GRÜV dance game. GRÜV is a game for iPhone that is played by actually dancing, with the phone in the player's pocket (the player's rhythm is measured by the phone's gyroscope).

GRÜV-IN is currently seeking strategic partners in the field, and you are welcome to contact Nicholas if you are interested in collaborating on any of his exciting ventures.
