I started selling boats in 2021. In 2024 I decided to change careers to focus on being a Yacht Sales Professional (aka yacht broker). That's when I also decided to join the leading yacht brokerage in eastern Canada, Sunnybrook Yachts.

Sunnybrook has listed and sold boats across Canada and the US. Together with their affiliate North44 Yachts they are a new boat dealer for top brands such as J/Boats, Jeanneau, Hanse, Dehler, Moody, Melges, Leopard, Tartan, MJM, and other brands.

My "sails career" includes competing all the way up to the J/24 World Championships and winning Canadian and North American titles. In 1994 the boat I was managing was Boat of the Year on Lake Ontario.

As a Yacht Sales Professional I have listed and sold both sail and power, from $50k to $500k+.

I also work with a partner to help people plan and book their yacht charters.

After my whole adult life in sales, the last 25+ years selling technologies such as cloud, SaaS, Martech, AI, and Generative AI, I am still getting to use my tech sales chops advising startups and scaleups, primarily in the AI and GenAI space.

Over my sales career I’ve built a track record of delivering breakthrough sales results for B2B SaaS tech firms both as a sales leader and closer on high profile deals.

My approach and methods have been successful at startups (Youneeq AI), scaleups (ExactTarget - acquired by Salesforce.com as the foundation of their Marketing Cloud) and Fortune 100s (Oracle). Breaking into new markets has been my superpower, having been the first hire in the Canadian market for a number of businesses.

I’ve sold to both early stage companies and large enterprises, collaborating on deals from 4 figures to 8 figures with personal deals over $1.2 million and annual quotas of $2M+.

In tech I’ve helped target and close deals with high-profile clients and brands including Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Sears, Kraft, Expedia, Scotiabank, BMO/Harris Bank, Manulife/John Hancock, Intuit, Postmedia, Torstar/VerticalScope, and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.
