Stefan Grafstein

I have been in the mortgage and real estate industry since 2001. I have worked as a mortgage broker, a mortgage banker, a real estate agent and real estate broker. I also opened and managed a real estate investment firm buying, rehabbing and selling real estate. I have purchased many homes at trustee sales at the county courthouse as well as bought and sold short sales as broker and owner. All of this experience has given my insight into all aspects and sides of real estate and has is the foundation of my creativity in structure financing. I enjoy the challenge of finding a way to get a loan for a difficult home or for a borrower who has been turned down by other lenders. My B.A. in psychology helps in making me more understanding and a great listener and as contributed to my success in working with first time buyers, elderly home owners and anyone else who needs a lot of support in the financing process. Before real estate I worked in cognitive neuroscience at the Salk Research Institute in La Jolla, CA. This experience instilled a strong analytic style in everything that I do, as you will see in my detailed approach to mortgage lending. I am currently 1 year from completing a Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology. I am using my education in this program to combine my experience and enthusiasm for real estate and facilitating personal growth in others.
