In 2013 I decided to make a difference and the world a better place. I can't do it alone. And that's where you come in!

I might not have the power to change the world alone but we all have the power to find those that can.

I hope to find unique, creative ideas to meet this task. Won't you help me? Brainstorm with me and share the things you think would make the world a better place. There is no idea too insignificant, or dream too big.

So maybe you're asking yourself, "How can an ordinary person like me change the world?" If you wish to change the world you must first change yourself. Look within, for there is your answer.

So ask yourself: who is it that I want to become?

This sounds kind of obvious– doesn't everyone think about this?– but in reality, most people don't.

People let the ocean of the universe move them in whatever direction fate “intends”. That’s because exerting your will on the universe is hard.

It is a constant push– back and forth– between you creating the world you want through your actions, and the world pushing back on you saying “nope,” or deflecting you, like a soccer ball hitting a goalie.

What can I do to help change the world you ask? Talk to others! And TALK! Talk to everyone you meet. Tell them how you plan to save the world. Do it with passion. Talk of hope and not despair. Be positive and not negative. Let your enthusiasm inspire others into action.

Think about it. When one person influences a few others, there are two major effects:

1. A ripple effect that, over time, can actually impact thousands over generations.

2. A broadening effect since one person influences many, like multiplying tree branches.

There are so many sitting on the fence. Some never even considered making a difference. Others are like you waiting for an opportunity. Go and look for them. Be the catalyst of change.

You may have influenced dozens of others without even realizing it.

I've learned from experience that we're all just flesh and blood. Nevertheless, we can do great things, if only for a brief time. And most importantly, the impact of those actions - what we say and do - can reach far beyond our selves.

So get to it! Thank you.
