Stefanie Smith

I became passionate about money management and personal financial education when I was still in high school. I found a mentor who is a personal finance guru and jumped on board to soak up all of the knowledge I could from her and follow in her footsteps. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, and then went on to obtain a Master of Arts degree from Wayne State University. I am currently one class away from completing a graduate certificate in nonprofit management at Lawrence Technological University. I now have over 12 years experience in the personal finance and credit counseling industry. I am a certified personal finance counselor. I also have spent over a decade of summers running a day camp for youth ages 8-18 teaching them the importance of money management.
