Stefan Weise, originally from Italy & Germany, has been DJing and producing for 20 years. His father was a DJ in Italy and growing up, the sounds of early underground electronic music, Funk, Soul and Disco flooded the house. After moving to Dallas, Texas in his teens, he started out as a Techno artist writing Detroit style techno, which led him into the company of the "Dallas Techno" scene. Later, a brief stint as a keyboardist for a Dallas synthpop band, introduced him to the progressive sound where he spent the next 8 years producing as "Stefan Anion". His break-out bootleg remix of Gary Jules' "Mad Word" and subsequent singles on Release Records earned him a spot as one of the most recognised Progressive Breaks artists in the world and allowed him to remix and work alongside acts such as Hybrid. In 2011, his final "Anion" production came in the form of an Involver-style remix album named "Rewoven". At this time Stefan decided to go back to his roots: Techno; and started over writing and remixing under his real name. Stefan has been the host of the monthly "Blue Industries" show on Proton radio for over 8 years, has had a number of guest spots on radio stations worldwide and has played various venues all over the country. In 2012, Stefan moved to Colorado and is an active collaborator in the burgeoning Denver area based "Evoked Recordings" imprint.
