Stefan Wesolowski

Stefan Wesołowski (born 1985) –Polish composer, violinist, graduate of Academie Musicale de Villecroze. In 2006 he wrote 'Kompleta'commissioned by the Dominican Order. Wesołowski invited Michał Jacaszek to perform the electronic parts of the composition, which initiated close and lasting cooperation. The musicians recorded together the album 'Treny'. Published in 2008 (Gusstaff/Miasmah), it was very well received by international critics. It was also the same year when „Kompleta”was released (Gusstaff/Pointa). Wesołowski is a creator of music illustrations to films, theatre performances and artistic installations. In 2012, Few Quiet People label published Wesołowski/Kaliski '281011' which is a record of improvisation with Szymon Kaliski during a concert in National Audiovisual Institute. In the meantime Wesołowski was working on his new original album. 'Liebestod' was first presented at Unsound Festival in October 2013 and was published by Important Records in April 2014. Since May 2014, Stefan is represented by Mute Song publishing agency (Nick Cave And The Bed Seeds, Swans, Liars, Ben Frost, Max Richter etc.)
