I'm leading a global MCA production team to build an inclusive Reckitt marketing production ecosystem, that maximises creativity through effectiveness and efficiency, empowering the marketing and creative partners to build purposeful brands.

This MCA team is an integral part of the Reckitt Marketing Excellence program to transform Reckitt into the world’s best purpose driven creative marketer.

Before that I was Chief Production Officer at the BBDO Group Germany for 17 years where I was responsible for production output across 8 agencies in 5 locations. I was also managing director of BBDO's integrated production Unit: CraftWork, ad agency services GmbH.

I’m proud that I help lift the agency into the top creative rankings year after year through all the innovative and award winning work we produced on brands like: Ford, WhatsApp, smart, Deutsche Bahn, Dr Oetker, Becks, Schwarzkopf, O2, Mercedes, Allianz, Pepsi, Braun, Aspirin, Snickers, and the WWF. My award credits include over a dozen Effies, 40 Cannes Lions including the Grand Prix for Good , and in addition I have helped the agency win 6 Grand Prix, 100+ Gold, 100+ Silver, 100+ Bronze awards for the One Show, New York Festival, London International Awards, Eurobest, Clio, ADC, Red Dot Design Award as well as the German Design Prize.

I am also proud in significantly reducing its carbon output of the agency and raising efficiency dramatically in production, with our award winning CUT!CO2 carbon calculator in 2010

I was born in South Africa, grew up on the beach in Malibu California and in the African bush. I studied photography in South Africa, where I started my career as a fashion photographer, which brought me to Europe to work for Vogue and other fashion magazines in the mid 80's. My first film work was in Italy for Martini and in Germany to shoot the first ever music video for the rock band Rammstein, this led me to open the first commercial film production in Berlin in the early 90's.

I directed/produced over 300 TV commercials, music videos and Television Shows.

I initiated the GWA Forum Film Production, was the first agency Head of Production in the German Art Directors Club, and in the Cannes Lions Jury. I also initiated and hosted the Regielounge – Germany’s foremost advertising film event, and am the founder and chairman of the Royal Lesotho Horse Riding Society in Berlin. In 2018 I returned to University to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business (MIT/Columbia Business School)
