Biology Instructor in Central Coast

Alicia worked with the Department of Education Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) grant management team at Hartnell Community College for 7.5 years. In addition to managing STEM grants Alicia teaches a variety of biology courses both face to face and online. Alicia holds a Masters of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and completed her undergraduate work in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego.

Before her career in science Alicia taught swimming, raced bikes, and was a professional triathlete. Alicia and her husband reside in the Central Coast region, and are active volunteers in their children’s schools and activities.
