In 2001, Stella L. Pitts created a Seattle firm with a vision of transformational law. The solo practice Stella L. Pitts & Associates has expanded to five attorneys and a support staff, including three paralegals. Concentrating on family law, including divorce, parenting plans, paternity, domestic violence, and community property agreements, Stella L. Pitts & Associates PLLC also handles Chapters 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies. Other areas of practice for Stella L. Pitts & Associates include commercial transactions and litigation related to leases, contracts, business formation and operation, and corporate governance; estate planning and probate; and misdemeanor and DUI criminal cases.

As a law practitioner for more than two decades, Stella L. Pitts has established a network of experts to rely on during complex family law and commercial litigation cases. Stella L. Pitts graduated from the University of Houston Law Center, and she also holds a strong background in business with a decade of experience managing small law firms and an undergraduate degree in business administration. Prior to founding Stella L. Pitts & Associates, the firm?s namesake created a family law partnership, Russell & Pitts, and worked at several Seattle law firms where she gained experience in civil and commercial litigation.

The Stella L. Pitts & Associates team includes attorneys Christopher D. Pitts, who focuses on family law, bankruptcy, estate planning, and business transactions; Kevin C. Rowles, experienced in personal injury and trial practice; and Chris M. Kang, who possesses expertise in criminal prosecution and commercial litigation. The paralegals at Stella L. Pitts & Associates include Kristine Linn, Cherie E. Juneman, and Tony Y. Shen. Ila M. McCullough acts as Office Manager and Kamala G. Caton as Lead Legal Assistant.
