During my years as a classroom teacher, I saw the need for one to one support for children who are struggling. I saw this from both sides as my own children struggled in the classroom because of autism and dyslexia, both before and after they were identified as having these.
I decided to specialise and undertook professional training in the fields of dyslexia and autism.
A lack of confidence in English can permeate a child's experience across the curriculum but with the right support and practice, ability and confidence can grow.
The initial session is a thorough consultation and a general assessment of ability in English. The concerns of both parent and child are taken into account and subsequently a tailored yet flexible teaching plan is drawn up.
Rainbow Educational Consultancy was established to help 4-14 year-olds with reading, writing, spelling and, where necessary, speaking. Specialist advice is available for dyslexic and autistic children. Those who would simply benefit from increased instruction and practice are equally welcome. First time learners of English will enjoy my lessons.
My qualifications and identity have been independently verified by First Tutors, on whose website I am listed. If you book me here, separately from that agency, you will bypass their introduction fee.
