Stephen McDonald
My early interest in media prompted me to volunteer in broadcasting during highschool and then to study my passion at Wodonga Institute of TAFE.
Upon graduation, I was invited back to teach and also gained employment as Station Manager of The Light. I continue in both positions and I consider myself a pracademic, informing my teaching by spending most of my time in the field.
I try to make my expertise available to others, particularly community groups. I have travelled overseas as an advisor with Australian Business Volunteers.
My voice is a tool of my trade and I enjoy using it in the studio, soundbooth, classroom, pew and pulpit. I eschew the prohibition against discussing politics and religion. Improving my photography skills, making music and turning the pages of an interesting book occupy my downtime.
