Stepfanie Romine

North Carolina

I'm Stepfanie Romine, a freelance writer/editor, yoga teacher and health coach living outside Asheville. I share a treehouse in the woods with my husband and our three rambunctious rescue cats.

I'm a former journalist who lost 45 pounds a decade ago--and I've kept the weight off. I'm now an Ashtanga yoga teacher (RYT-200) with almost six years of teaching experience, and I'm an ACE-certified health coach, with continuing education in Alternative & Integrative Nutrition.

For several years, I was editorial director at a major healthy living website, and I managed a healthy recipes site as well. I co-authored a healthy cookbook and a diet book that was named one of the best by U.S. News & World Report. (Read my articles, blogs, and recipes from that time.) Now I work for myself, as a writer and editor who specializes in natural health & wellness. From national brands to small-town businesses, I help others share their stories and strive to make the world healthier and happier. I spend a lot of time doing yoga and creating recipes for me, my husband (an avid cyclist who eats even more than I do), and my health coaching clients.
