My integrated life comes from international travel with my husband, hiking with our two dogs and time training my horses who teach me trust, non-verbal language and patience.
As owner and Managing Director of LEAD the difference, I provide consulting to senior leaders seeking transformation & transition management - to build companies that center humans in all decision-making. My primary focus is on physician leadership and engagement. In 2015 we created a 'home' for our focus on Human Capital Value at The Human Value Institute. In business and sustainability, my ultimate objective is to determine the value humans really bring to an organization and integrate that into a shared purpose. We know leading companies are doing this by being individualized and objective in development, performance, and well-being integration. Our first publication in this area is Purpose Drives Performance where we studied the most trusted profession's purpose in the workplace. As faculty at Pinchot University of Seattle, I enjoy teaching Strategy & Implementation and welcome the opportunity to lead the International Study Abroad to Cuba. With a consistent commitment to volunteer leadership roles, I am currently Vice Chair to the Social Enterprise Alliance of Washington; a chapter that I helped to start.
