Stephane Gagnon has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor, telecommunication and processor industry. Stephane’s last role was Senior Director of Product Management for IDT - Integrated Device Technology where he drove business strategy for the RapidIO® switching product line with primary responsibilities that included strategy and product marketing, business development and management of international customer and partner relationships. Stephane led the charge in achieving 100% market share in the Wireless Base station business. He originally joined IDT in 2000 with the acquisition of Tundra Semiconductor where he held many different positions such as Systems Architect, Director of Systems Engineering and Manufacturing Test and Director of Strategic Marketing.

Stephane became involved with the RapidIO Trade Association (RTA) Technical Working Group 13 years ago and has held the position of Chairman of the RTA Steering Committee for over 3 years. Prior to his role at IDT and Tundra, Stephane held positions at Motorola and Nortel Networks.

Stephane is currently responsible for POET’s business development, international partnering strategy and customer relationship management. He has the mandate to help monetize POET’s process IP portfolio and manage overall operations.

Stephane holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from Laval University.
