Prof. Dr. Stephan R. Göthel, Ll.M. (Cornell)

I am Partner of the Hamburg based corporate finance law boutique Pier11. I am specialized in the areas of corporate law, M&A, venture capital and start-ups, and have a special focus on companies in the tech, media, communications and consumer industry.

An entrepreneur myself, I think and act as entrepreneurially as my clients, and share their goals. I am driven by the aim to provide the best possible advice at any given point in time. I give clear recommendations – pragmatic, solution-oriented and with the client's business objectives in mind.

Further, I am Professor of Company Law at BSP Business & Law School. I passionately teach business students and give them the business law skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful entrepreneur.
