Hello! My name is Stephanie Peterson. You are probably wondering why my site is called "Planting Trees" when it has nothing to do with trees at all! It is from a song carrying the same name by Andrew Peterson (not related). The words say, "She rises up as morning breaks, she moves among these rooms alone before we wake, and her heart is so full; it overflows, she waters us with love and the children grow. So many years from now long after we are gone, these trees will spread their branches out and bless the dawn."

I am super blessed to be a stay-at-home mom to 5 boys that I'm kinda crazy about. They are so much fun and full of energy that never seems to disipate. There is NEVER a dull moment in our house. My husband, Matt, is an amazing partner and hard worker. He is in the Army National Guard, a volunteer Youth Pastor, and he holds a civilian job in addition to projects I need help with around the house. My family and I are beekeepers, I am a distributor for Young Living Essential Oils, and a volunteer Children's Pastor.

I am on a journey to raise my kids naturally. I have 3 children who are allergic to cow's milk and, in addition, my youngest is allergic to wheat/gluten, so I'm always experimenting in the kitchen. I hope you all join me on this amazing journey of raising children healthy and on a budget. I'm excited to share with you things that have worked and things that have not AND I can't wait to get some amazing ideas from you as well!
