I founded Fortitude Kenya, a youth led organization operating in Kenya and East Africa to uphold equality and advocate for the rights of the youth. As the founding director I am on a mission to empower and inspire the youth to be agents of change in the economical, political and social aspects of their lives and to champion for their rights. I built Fortitude Kenya from scratch, recruited personnel and provided leadership in developing programs to promote its mission and vision. I have also been involved in activities to champion for the rights of women in public spaces e.g My Dress My Choice peaceful demonstration. I am currently the chairperson of A4TL Kenya which is a coalition of youth led organizations working in Kenya that have come together to enhance the participation of the youth in democratic processes by advocating for an active citizenry and transformational leadership.
