Hi there! I’m Dr. Stephanie Adams Mendez, a PPS credentialed School Psychologist in Los Angeles, California. I have provided mental and behavioral health and assessment services to children and their families across school, community mental health, and hospital settings for 6+ years. I utilize my combined Ph.D. Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology training from UC Santa Barbara to empower and bridge the gap between families and schools. I also have an M.Ed. in School Psychology and M.A. in Education Research Methodology from UCSB. I have focused much of my research and clinical work on promoting family and school-based support for sexual and gender minority youth, including providing LGBTQ trainings for colleagues, undergraduates, and school psychologists.
