I am a sophomore at North Carolina Central University. I'm from Siler City, NC and have lived in Wake county for 4 years. My major is Food and nutrition Science and my goal is to become a Registered Dietitian

5 years ago, I found myself in college, unsure of my major and broke. I have worked since I was 16 and found that not working in college was not an option. I wanted more than just a part time job for extra cash, I wanted to pursue something more fulfilling . I needed to find something I was truly passionate about. Health and Wellness has always been an interest of mine and Massage Therapy seemed like a good start in that direction. So, with the support of my mother I decided to pause my undergrad degree and study Massage Therapy. It has been my greatest accomplishment thus far and I'm thankful i started that journey when i did.

Now 4 years later, I am ready to restart my career and complete my undergraduate degree. As a Licensed Massage Therapist I feel more confident and would like to eventually incorporate my practice into my future career as Registered Dietitian.
