Stephanie Elder

Stephanie is the Chief Operating Officer of Gallant Background Checks, she ensures the smooth day to day operations of Gallant Background Checks and gives assistance to her Chief Executive Officer and business partner Carla Mowery. Some of Stephanie's experience as a COO came from her duties being a Captain for a Fire Department for 13 years as the medical and safety\Personal Protective equipment officer. Stephanie also has experience from being Planet Biker magazine sales and marketing director. Stephanie has expert skills for reading criminal records and court records from her law enforcement training for 16 years .

Stephanie started Gallant Background Checks in September 01, 2009 with her business partner Carla Mowery. Stephanie became a TERO qualified Indian contractor through the Cherokee Nation in September 2010 to present time. Stephanie has established her company as a value within the Indian Community. In October of 2011 Stephanie and her business partner was awarded the Certified Indian Woman Owned Business Award. Stephanie and her business partner set this as a goal in 2010 that the company would achieve.

Stephanie and her company was featured in Spark and Hustle as a featured Company as Daring Doers for herself and Carla in n 2011. Also, Stephanie was asked in 2012 to do a profile in the Vertikal Magazine for "Women on the Rise" & on the Vertikal board.

Some of Stephanie's other goals has been realized by becoming more involved in the Indian Community by extending help and volunteering time to the Community. Stephanie and her business partner has been judges for the Youth Entrepreneurs since 2012 and has been and volunteers time to get donations from businesses and individuals for the Veterans Facility . Which is a place to meet and do activities with other veterans and to help with Post Traumatic Distress Syndrome Veterans.

Gallant was contacted in June that we will be accepting the 2015 Regional Sub Contractor of the Year in July.

Stephanie Believes in the growth of local community businesses is to be more active and aggressive in helping local businesses network together. This in return will help everyone in the community. Gallant provides services local, Nationwide and International.
