Having started my career in media as a freelance writer, I understand how to identify and shape compelling stories. I have bylines in major and local outlets, including Glamour, Prevention, Climbing, Rock & Ice, Her Sports, Desert Companion, Las Vegas Magazine, Las Vegas Review-Journal, and the Las Vegas Sun.

As a PR strategist, I've worked with national and local brands and nonprofits, where I created and guided communications strategies, developed key partnerships, and secured millions of media impressions.

I have led teams of PR and social media pros and worked directly with C-suite executives, playing an integral role in shaping early-stage and startup brands, along with more established companies looking to pivot. I'm experienced working with national CPG and experience-based brands in the outdoor recreation space.

My deep understanding of Southern Nevada's outdoor recreation market has made me a go-to resource for brands, nonprofits and media. For example, in 2020, I was tapped by The Wilderness Society and National Parks Conservation Association to develop and launch the communications initiative that helped secure a national monument designation for Avi Kwa Ame, Nevada's newest national monument.
