Stephanie Franet

I have crawled through a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, sprinted through a Master of International Health, leapt from work in community sports events at Start to Finish event management and sports administration at Netball Victoria to swim across the Coral Sea and Pacific Ocean to develop netball with the Tongan Netball Association for Tongan women's health and chronic disease prevention, before landing (with knees safely bent) in the Fiji Islands to promote physical activity for health, wellness and disease prevention through the Fiji National Olympic Committee.

Physical activity, for me, is a gift and a human right. I am passionate about international development, capacity building, health promotion and education to empower individuals, communities and populations to actively improve health and reduce disease risk.
