My life has been very hard, but it has also been full of determination. I have had one health problem after another, but this hasn't stopped me from working towards my dream of being a successful producer, writer, and creator in the film, television, theatre and YouTube industry. I have spent my childhood taking vocal lessons, acting and dance. During my middle school days I was accepted in an all girls choir, until I got into a show called "2000 Wishes". This show led me volunteering at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre. I ended up doing my high school internship at Civic. Twelve years at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre I worked on over 30 productions in 12 years. I did everything from working backstage, acting to assistant directing. I received four volunteer awards and the Norma Brink Combined Theatre Scholarship.
I also worked at Actor's Theatre and Circle Theatre.
My health hasn't allowed me to graduate college in four-five years. I have had to take time off on and off to recover. When I am rolled in classes I never get less than a A- in. There only been a couple that I got a B in. At Davenport University I was awarded by the president for being the top 10% of the school. There were only 15. I was given a spot in the Alpha Sigma Lambda as well one in the National Society of Leadership and Success where I received an "Excellence" award.
Five years ago, I was diagnosed with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (CRPS), one of the worse pain conditions out there. The pain tops, having a baby, cancer and amputee of a limb. On top of that I have Celiac Disease, Ulcerated Colitis, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am determined to never let this stop me.
