A marketing professional based in Kansas City, Missouri, Stephanie O’Dear recently obtained a master of business administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she received the Sloan Leadership Fellowship Award in recognition of her academic and extracurricular excellence. At present, she serves as head of marketing for the retirement solutions group at the Overland Park, Kansas-based Empower Retirement, where she oversees all business-to-customer and business-to-business initiatives and provides detailed analyses related to target development and strategy effectiveness. Stephanie O’Dear also developed the firm’s Customer Lifetime Value model and led efforts to implement new fiduciary rules.

Outside of her responsibilities with Empower Retirement, Stephanie O’Dear has served on the Board of Directors for the Lyric Opera of Kansas. Additionally, she chaired the Junior League of Kansas City and served as managing editor for a publication related to the Junior League’s most prominent fundraiser, Holiday Mart.
