I am a student:

currently I am a Senior at Mount Saint Mary college studying to become an Elementary School Teacher. In the Spring I will be embarking upon the scariest, and hopefully, most rewarding experience of my life, student teaching.

I am a future teacher:

I have always wanted to teach, ever since I can first remember. To me, teaching is a reward to be treasured. I remember my best and my worst teachers and recognize that teachers impact the lives of every student who walks through their door. Therefore, I strive to help all students grow, and recognize within each of them their own potentials, taking into account that not every student learns in the same way, or even at the same pace. To teach is to care, to guide, and to support learners as they grow iindividually into the best person that they can be. I hope to one day have my own classroom where I can inspire students to love learning.

I am a creator:

I spend my free time making crafts from anything I can find. Lately I have been obsessed with making cards and paper art in shadow boxes.
