Hello! I am a nice person who graduated with an undergraduate degree in Librarianship in 2011. I have worked as a Cataloguing Assistant for a charity and done bits and bobs to do with metadata for some cool digital library projects as well since the charity made us all redundant.
Now I don't have a proper job so I spend most of my time focusing on my MA in Digital Library and Information Services, doing some qualitative coding work on a freelance basis and learning to play the piano and speak Swedish (not at the same time).
I also help to run Salford Zine Library, a not-for-profit archive of self published materials housed at Nexus Art Cafe in Manchester, as well as being involved on committees for two separate CILIP groups. I am currently attempting to get a North West based Radical Librarians Collective group going too.
