Stephen Metcalfe

I am at heart a family man, and take every opportunity to be with my wife and three children. Weekends find me watching movies, shopping and spending time with them.

When on my own, I enjoy reading, catching up on technology (particularly mobile) and learning the latest trend in my chosen field.

As someone that believes in customer service, I love to tell others when I receive the same. I was a stalwart supporter of the breakthrough "bank" 20twenty in the early 2000s, featuring on the cover of ITWeb's Brainstorm magazine when the bank was finally closed in 2006. More recently (2016) I put that passion to good effect when we opened a family run vaping outlet.

I also love solving problems - a trait that has stood me in good stead in the professional arena, where I create software solutions for a living.

Born in England, I inherited/developed a broad sense of humour and a quick wit. I am sensitive to others' feelings however, and try to live at peace with everyone around me. As a result I work well in a team, and am generally liked by all. (Nobody has told me otherwise, anyway!)

I am a born again Christian, and try daily to exhibit the spiritual fruits that my faith extols. It doesn't always work out that way, but then again, we are not saved by works, but by faith in Jesus Christ.
