Stephen Barrett is a marketing officer with more than twenty-five years marketing experience in the United States and Canada. He has held various marketing positions with different companies, the most recent being the Chief Marketing Officer for Mariner Holdings. Earlier he had served as managing director and chief marketing officer of Eaton Vance. Mr. Barrett also has one time worked with Waddell & Reed/Ivy Funds as the senior vice president and director of marketing. He is a good track record of accelerating sales and profit growth. In addition to his wealth of experience, Stephen serves as the Chief Brand Ambassador for MindLift.

Mr. Barrett is an expert in branding, Relationship Management, Spin doctoring, promotion, Product Management & Development, Marketing Communications, Marketing Strategy, Market Analysis & Development. His teams have won numerous awards for brand campaigns, sales success, creative design, content excellence, and philanthropic initiatives.

Mr. Barrett’s first job was with Fidelity Investments in the 90s where his main duties were marketing, products development, new business development, corporate strategy and branding. He is an alumnus of Wesleyan University with bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics. He was the co-founder of Classic Investment Managers, which was acquired by DST Systems in 2010. However, he is well known for his role as the founder and Chief Customer Officer of Iron Marketing Partners; a boutique-consulting firm focused on select financial services brands.
