As founder of 98Bluesky Media, technology entrepreneur Stephen Sherman has provided consulting to media and technology companies since 2006. Offering consulting services to clients on new product planning and development, social media, media convergence, original broadcast/broadband media content development, mobile billing systems, and Web 2.0 mobile delivery platforms, Stephen Sherman also possesses expertise on integrated High Definition Television and Internet-immersive content production. Excelling in startup environments, Stephen Sherman has been at the forefront of multiple technological developments over the years. In 1999, Sherman founded DotClick Digital Music Networks, a pioneering social media service that connected users based on their music-listening preferences. As architect of the project, Stephen Sherman raised $6.5 million in startup funding from top East Coast venture capitalists; he created a seamless service integrating instant messaging, real-time community presence, and collaborative filtering to provide users with music-based and interpersonal connections. Sherman also implemented real-time advertising techniques to respond to an individual user’s musical choices. Stephen Sherman attended the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. In his free time, Sherman enjoys international travel and photography, and he is a collector of fine wines. In addition to his work in technological fields, Stephen Sherman maintains a keen interest in screenwriting and has written two award-winning film scripts and sold several others to Hollywood producers. He currently lives in New York City.
