Stephen Black is leading CORAM DEO MINISTRIES. He has been in pastoral care ministry for over 32 years. He is the former Executive Director of First Stone Ministries and worked there from 1992 through July 2023. He was ordained with International Ministerial Fellowship in October of 1994. As an author of many articles and teaching aids, and an author of his book Freedom Realized released in October 2017, and the follow-up Complete Effectiveness Survey Report used in Freedom Realized released July 27, 2018. He is working on a new book, "Freedom Realized -- Lesson Learned" to be released in 2023.

Stephen speaks on issues of sexual and relational brokenness. Stephen was one of seven founders of the Restored Hope Network (RHN) which was formed in June of 2012 to supply a biblically orthodox network of ministries to the sexually broken after the collapse, implosion and later closure of Exodus International. Stephen served on the RHN board for the first 7 years. His focus is now broader and working with ministries and pastors globally.

Stephen began his ministry through pastoral discipleship counseling in 1985 and now continues to teach and serve people in one-on-one discipleship sessions, group sessions, and a helpful speaker in national conferences. He has been interviewed and shared numerous times on local and national radio and television programs over the past 38 years. In April of 2019, Stephen launched Freedom Realized - LIVE, a weekly video web-based online show, giving Bold Truth, Bold Courage and Bold Compassion. He has also ministered in prisons as a volunteer chaplain.
