Stephen Christiansen

As the Microsoft Practice Manager for Laurus Technologies, my role is to build a consulting services organization based on the Microsoft Business Productivity Platform - specifically focused on the areas of collaboration (SharePoint), unified communications (Lync), business intelligence (SQL and PerformancePoint), enterprise content management, and enterprise search (FAST). These services extend and compliment other core Laurus offerings around areas like systems integration, staffing, and business applications. I have also a wide breadth of experience leading internal IT groups; both large, globally distributed teams at Fortune 500 companies, as well as at smaller, specialized startups. I am ITIL certified as well as XP and SCRUM. I am also a Microsoft MCITP in SharePoint 2010, SharePoint Deployment Planning Services, and Business Value Planning Services. I am as hands-on as I am strategic in the implementation of innovative technologies. I speak at several engagements each year, and I am always looking for new opportunities for inspiration. I am also open to networking requests, and I am happy to provide introductions to others.
