Stephen Corba
An experienced professional in the pharmaceutical sales industry, Stephen Corba has spent the past ten years working for leading companies AstraZeneca and Avenel Surgical & Pharmaceuticals. Since June 2011, Corba has utilized the expert knowledge he has acquired over the previous decade in his current position as President of Sales at Investigational Drug Delivery (IDD). Specializing in providing medicinal products for use in clinical trials by researchers and medical professionals, IDD is quickly becoming a leader in this sector of the industry. As President of Sales, Stephen Corba works in direct communication with clinical research coordinators and associates, research nurses, clinical investigators, and research managers, as well as their pharmaceutical procurement staff, to provide accuracy in the types and quantities of products required.
Stephen Corba began focusing his career in 2001, when he accepted a position as a Respiratory/Primary Care Sales Specialist at AstraZeneca, a global pharmaceutical company that has produced many new medications for cancer, heart disease, infections, and respiratory conditions. Corba remained with AstraZeneca for more than six years, gaining experience and consistently exceeding sales goals. By the time he left the company in 2007, Stephen Corba had been promoted to Cardiovascular Account Specialist, responsible for selling a portfolio of cardiovascular medications and products to teaching institutions and medical offices throughout the Brooklyn and Staten Island areas. From 2008 until 2011, Corba moved his way up through the ranks at Avenel Surgical & Pharmaceuticals, a national distributor of specialty pharmaceutical products and surgical supplies. Hired as a Regional Account Specialist, Stephen Corba held the dual positions of District Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales in 2011, when he left the company for his new position with IDD.
